Well Yellow Top is probably the best bang for the buck here for under the hood battery. Some people may think its overpriced, but when you look at the specs you realize what you're paying for. All the better batteries cost a lot more of course, but they are just a bit better. The ones that are a little cheaper and by far inferior. To me Yellow Top is a happy medium.

If you dont pound on your system, you may be able to get away with the cheapest battery, but if your system is extreme duty, and you use it as one, you need an extreme duty battery.

 

Well based on the amp/subs specs I have, I wouldn't consider it extreme but I still think the Yellow Tops looks very favorable. The only prob is that I can't find any that fit this car online (nothing local here)... I've found some Red Tops that do fit, but only online as well. My battery bay depth is pretty sad... standard size battery with top terminals would stop my hood from closing by a inch or two lol...
