What are you hoping for?
I would like to see far less cheapass customers with absolutely no sense of quality wishing for lowball pricing, and feature packed lists on any car audio product that has every feature but quality on that list.
It's not the manufacturers that ruined the market. They just follow demand. and people demand cheaper and cheaper price. So quality is the first thing to suffer.
The high end and audiophile market is probably less than 1% of all car electronics sold. So manufacturers don't really cater to our kind. They cater to the backwards hat wearing, ganster lean seating position dpuchebag driving a 12 year old car with a Koss radio a Pyramid amp and 2 mismatched mystery subs in a plexi bandpass box with Neons around the subs that think $1100 is WAY too expensive for a quality double din dvd/Nav screen and would rather buy a used chinese made POS for $150 off ebay.
if CES can improve the customer/ general populous...I'd be a happy man

Uber integration piece plus auto tune that can beat what the best of us could do in hours-days of tuning, and then custom tuning above and beyond that... seems pretty epic to me.

I will just say , who doesn't want to pay less for anything they can purchase especially when they know that they can.
And I think as customers we have the right to want lower pricing when companies stick there name on products made by overseas build houses that they paid next to nothing for.
More competetive pricing on quality parts I'm all for. It's clients who really have no sense of quality just buying things based on a feature list and a tiny price tag that I dislike. I see soo many people running all flea market stuff and bragging how their 3500watt sound system is the most amazing thing in the world, yet spending 3 seconds listening to their systems would make anyone with any appreciation for music or good sound cry.
I disagree that consumers are the ones who have driven pricing to exceed quality. You don't see people expecting a special deal at WalMart, or Safeway, a gas station, or even at clothing stores or jewelery stores. Electronic retailers have trained their customers to want everything for nothing.
But I digress.
I would like to see more small footprint amps and more decks with more advanced processing either built in or with a hideaway processor. Lets see something like HDMI cables too, or how about we move ahead with my suggestion from last year with a wireless system similar to bluetooth.

wireless from head to amp... they might have to improve on the amps for it.. cell phone looses signal when my amp comes on class d and when its off i have the signal back.. same would happen to blutooth i think

boooooo SS had nice power. fully active and small great for what i needed.. didnt even had the chance to find the price lol
