Whats better? Type R's, Mtx 8000, Kicker CompVR's?
This is all personal opinion, but a whie back....i was deciding between teh HE2's type r's and a lil bit of the comp vr's. At teh time i owned the HE's....wasn't overly impressed with the sq and had heard a couple installes with the hx2 and what not, and was just never impressed by them for sq (granted it could haev been the install) but the spl was there.
As for the VR's they've always seemed to be a lil more spl oriented whereas it seems the type-r's are a lil more sq oriented (or so my opinion is).
I ended up with a pair of type r's, but if i had to do it all oevr again, insteada getting two subs to take about 800rms total, i wish and i currenlty would rather just get one kinda super sub-ie brahma...xxx...etc.
But that is my thouhgts on everything.
Btw you'd probably want dual 4ohm subs to get that 4ohm load (assuming thats what your lookin for)

If you go with Fosgate, go with th ePUNCH hx2...those are the 'biggest' fosgate woofers that FS sells. Those FNF are only going to leave you wanting more later on.
The kickers are also nice, but here in Toronto, they are the most expensive of all the ones you listed....with the exception of JL's
