If you ran it at 6 ohms, and blew them, you were probably trying to get too much out of them, turning it up really high = clipping. No other explanation why the woofers would blow.

Again, away from the point. THINK about it, someone sells you a year used item (who the person bought it from a retailer OR AUTHRORIZED DEALER) THE WARRANTY IS GONE ANYWAYS!, SO STOP TALKIN ABOUT WARRANTIES THEN, Tell me , if you aren't so far up ur own "butts" (cuz i guess we not allowed swearing being under the age of 18??) that if someone offers you an item, factory fresh, in a sealed box, and says 500, and someone offers you something that was purcheased at BEST BUY, a year ago, used, for 800. TELL ME HONESTLY, what would you choose???
If im the only one who would choose the first choice, and it makes me an idiot for doing so, then i dont give a f-in rats "butt", because at least i'm 300 dollars richer. Then I guess it works out better for me!.

The second point is about running the amp at 6 ohms, not giving the subs enough power, means you ruin the sub, THAT JUST PROVED MY ORIGINAL POINT ANYWAYS!!! if you don't give somethin the power needed , your going to turn it all the way up just to get the same sount (being distorted though), and you will ruin your sub. Why are people arguing about it, for the sake of arguing???

The third point, is the subs I repaired, You dont know how those subs sounded, you can't tell me anything about them. If the person who bought them for 50 bux each, is happy, then I'm happy.. you can see the amount of people who sell AS IS subwoofers, and they don't work AT all... their not ******** (cuz they put AS IS on the product page), but guess what , so did I, SO how does that make me any different.

All your arguments against me go so far away from the original points, that its laughable.

Thank yoU!

Actually they didn't just prove your point. All you did is prove that you're stupid enough to run your amp in to clipping because you couldn't afford enough power for your sub.

Just because you're the type of person that doesn't have enough intelligence to know when you're abusing your system, doesn't mean the rest of us are.

If you're going to crank it up and kill the sub when it is under powered then the chances of you doing it when it has all the power it wants is probably a lot higher.

Btw.. I run a sub that is rated for 1200w off of a 600w amp. Should I go out shopping for a new sub now because the one I have is about to blow??

Yes, definitely, I hear the Mrblob19 has a good deal on some subs right now, oh, wait a minute, they have no warranty and are not factory renenewed and he can't give you a sales recepit, guess they are only worth $10.00. Sounds like a deal to me.

after you "fixed" your subs, did you tell the person you sold them to that you had fixed them, used the wrong materials, and had no clue what you were doing? because, my take on you is that you would have used krazy glue, cheap solder and done a pretty half assed job. instead of sending the sub to someone who knew how to fix it, and have them use the proper glue, and high temperature solder.
