www.genuinecanadianaudio.com carries them but i think the site is down right now due to domain name issues.

Talk about rape. That's easily $100 more than it should be.

The Odyssey batteries are a premium dry cell unit that come at a premium price. Please be sure to get back to me with that cheaper place to buy.

Coming on here and basically saying that GCA over charges is very uncool.
If you can tell us where else you can find them for so cheap then please share with the rest of us.

Last time I priced a PC1700 it was $270 CAD from Polar Battery in Vancouver.
They're also roughly $200 USD or so online. I can also get one after taxes for a touch under $290 CAD just by crossing the border. I'm also waiting on a hard quote for PC2150's from another local retailer that I like dealing with, and he figured $300-350 CAD for one on special order.
Put all this together, yeah I figured $390 CAD looked like too much for a PC1700.
I also didn't make a blanket statement that they overcharge, I looked at the site and thought there was a lot of good deals, but that the Hawker's were way out of line based on what I had seen in my personal experience.
