Why are you looking for a 600w amplifier if you only "need' 208w?
Im going to troll you until you get the point jordy, logic and the internet are not friends. 200 rms = 600 peak

exactly...if it has a peak rating, then it must be good for solid rms output! I love the logic! I mean why bother with that pesky rms rating from a good, reputable brand...when you can get flea market quality and peak power!

cause peak is gay and its just a number that its printed on the heatsink for selling. RMS is the true power thats what you want

i seen a 3000watt PEAK pyramid amp do 600rms. wheres the logic there??

What speakers are you running? 600watts is killer for a front stage and mostly likely it's the MAX rating. 50 x 4 is stupid loud for an every day setup. I found a older

Kenwood 75wx4 on craigslist for $cheap. Works like a champ.

Let me find a good amp for you,

$150 for an Rockford amp and sub

$150 - (Car Audio)Rockford Fosgate amp and Sony Sub

Sony Amplifier XMC2000, please call me at 647 267 7775
Not too sure of the price but this is a decent sony amp

keep checking craigslist or kijijij You can get a decent brand amp for cheap. However buyer beware

I mean 600W is the peak. so, it will normally offer 50WRMS per channel. Tha's for good brand, for cheap brand, even less
my speakers are 52w RMS.
am i right? i'm new in car audio, plz correct me if i got it wrong

Head: sony GT220 52wx4 peak, 22wx4 rms

if the amp offers no higher than 22w rms, why bother buy one? i can just use the head to power the speakers, right? no improvement

very generous of u! thanks for the info
i'm confused with the watts!
of coz i would like to pick the good brand, however, around 100 bucks, good brand just can offer like 160w, that's 22wx4 rms, same with my headunit. why should i buy it? it won't power the speakers right and cause the distortion of the sound.

OR, a 22w amp will amplify the signal from HU FURTHER 22w? that's totally different.
I'm confused. pls. give some insights.
thx!

hahahaha.. I figured... but it seems odd to look at an amps peak rating when trying to match it to the RMS of a speaker.

Like you said though, logic and the Internet are not friends.
