After much shopping, it seems hard to beat their availability and no shipping charges like online (and it's good quality, flexible cable too!)
It's $3.49/ft here for 1/0

Absol-posi-tutely. Thick, flexible copper wire is thick, flexible copper wire. Plus, the jacket is meant to guard against abrasion and chemicals so it is well suited to the car environment.

^ I would avoid running any cable under a car without some kind of protection.

I agree with dukk, if you are getting from princess, goto hydraulic section and by hose wrap , It is a real pita to put on but stuff is super hard and will take abuse like mad. I see this stuff after 5 yrs of being on hoses on the ground that pulse and move around all day and it hardly wears it. Is what I used and have others into it as well.
