Where to test for a short?

we charge 60/hr count yourself lucky!!
i would say be really informative when you give them the history and nature of the problem,
and make sure it is not a rookie working on your car.
but im tellin you if you have more than 1 problem
it can cause you to have more than 1 experience.
and if its blowing light's that's a safety issue my friend. cant put a price tag on your life.
btw derrick may know this one but i have never seen a pink power wire in the dash of any vw ever made. i still think its red.

From the posting on this thread, you'd be better off to let someone who KNOWS how to use test tools to find your problem and repair it.
And even a rookie will find the problem , as long as he knows how to use a meter!
