Very sad Hooked the amp up and it seemed to work great.
So now today its cutting out and going into protection?
I went over all the wires and they all look fine, with a good solid ground, used 4 awg to dis block and 8 awg to amp, with 8 awg ground.
The shop i got it from will take it back(deal with them alot)
Or they can fix it? What should i do?

You only paid $100, maybe see how much to get it fixed.

Make sure you are only running a 4 ohm load,my autotek (made by zed audio)would go into protection at 3 ohm instantly!

I have it bridged to a 4 ohm bazooka tube.
Its fine at low volume but as soon as you start turnin it past 25 to about 29 it will cut out?

Alpine 9815 deck sub out at +10 gain at 10/11 o'clock.
eq set @ flat.
I'm gonna go over the wires one more time then go visit the shop i got it from.

Maybe reconsider this.... </font>
I do know what i'm doin There was no clipping or distortion going on and never go past 30 on the deck.
As far as i know alpine decks need to be +15 sub out to get the 4 volts out of them.
And just to be sure i did turn gain down to"0" and it still shut off,so i know the amp is faulty.

Turning the control clockwise will start boosting the response with a peak centered at 37 Hz, max boost is 12 dB.
(i know this thread has been dead for over a year!)

I just brushed the dust off my 2150i and hooked everything up. I never had the instructions for it, cus i bought it off a friend years back, so i never knew what the tilt control was.

Anyway, if i want more bass (lets say 40Hz and lower) i should turn the dial clockwise? But on the amp the little diagram beside the dial shows that direction as highlighting the mid-range...? or does that diagram mean you'll be filtering out that frequency range?
One other thing, once i pass the midpoint (say i'm turning clockwise) does it automatically filter out higher frequencies, or is it just boosting 37Hz and th more i tur the more it boosts this frequency?
I did try it out before posting...when i turn the dial completely counterclockwise I barely hear anything from my box, and obviously when i turn it clockwise (past the '0' midpoint) it starts to get really loud..

i thought that this was another typ of 'gain' dial from the way it got louder/quieter.

Anyways, just looking for some confirmation. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here's a pic of what i'm talking about:

Sorry to dig this up from the dead, but does anyone know what colour speaker output wires match up to the left and right, + and - ? I have red/white and green/brown. Thanks!
