Out of the list you have I would say Kaption 15" spl subs really good bang for the buck. I had a customer who hit 143.1 from 1 15" Kaption.

Not for $620 I won't...

Not cheap here... lol

I think I'll go with the Clarion PXW1552 still. That or 2 PXW12's (the older model with the mesh type cone).

You sure? I don't think so IMO... It will come up to about the same as the Clarion would. http://lightningaudio.com/products/product_details.asp?cat_id=2&series_id=19&family_i d=27&item_id=94731&locale=en_US

I like them alot. And for some reason I don't really know about that Clarion, just something about it. Dunno whether it's the brand or what?

I dunno, I think it will work out good in the end.

Well if you like it thats cool you where just asking opinions. IMHO yes the Clarion would outperform and handle the Lightning Audio Strike. The new Clarion subs are pretty nice sounding and performing subs. But again like I said opinions are like azzholes and everyone has one. What apeals to me may not to others. So if you feel comfortable with your purchase then dont look back.
