1. What do you do for a living ? - LAN Admin in the gubmint. (CCRA to be exact)

2. What involvment do you have in Car Audio ? - Virtually none. I check out the forums just about every day. But there isn't much of a scene locally. So I mostly just tinker around on my own at home.

3. How long have you been into Car Audio ? - Spectated at a bunch of shows going back to Slam Jam in about '98.

4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long ? - Only recently had the cash to compete. Finally got all of my equiment together about 1/2 way through last season. Made it to 1 show and got my *** handed to me. Hopefully this year will be differnet!

I work as an Partsman for AutoValue of Calgary

I do car audio as a hobby and a passion.

Had an interest in car audio since I was a kid.Started putting "el cheapo grande" systems in my car and parents when I was about 16.Started getting sort of serious in about 98 or so.

I do compete.First comp was in 99.Did one show.Then didnt compete again til 02,did about 3 or 4 shows.Then 03,went as hardcore as I could...hehe...maybe a little too hardcore then I should have..oh well..it was fun...

1. What do you do for a living ? Service Writer at a car audio Local Distributor
2. What involvment do you have in Car Audio ? I control service units for the service dept. i'm the one who fixes all your broken stuff. I compete in extreme class.

3. How long have you been into Car Audio ?since 1989. but only professionally since 1995

4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long. extreme 2 class. last year for the first time. trying to be the loudest car in BC. set my goal at trying to be the loudest in canada in 5 years. but boy does it take allot of time/money/knowledge/effort/dedication. hard to beat the high guys right now. But hey if i don't do it in 5 years(or at least get close to it)I'll try something else.

1. What do you do for a living ? I am a full time student at York Uni. studying crim. and work part time at a cafe.

2. What involvment do you have in Car Audio ? It is my hobbey, and up until recently haven't had anything decent in the car.

3. How long have you been into Car Audio ? From a few years ago in higschool, put my first deck in my dads car about 4 years ago, lol, and have been into it ever since.

4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long ? Started competing last year, did some pretty decent numbers. Was planning on competing mostly in db drag this year, but plans have to be put off for a little bit.

Russ here....

1. I am a student at u of T, almost finished (thank you hey-zeus). I also work as a blue collar forklift driver type guy at Labatt Brewery during year.

2. Car audio is my hobby, one of quite a few. Like most people, when the money and time allows for it, mostly.

3. I first got into it when I got my full licence and the second half of my final OSAP loan (one of the main reasons it was my last loan, hehe), probably shortly before or after I joined this board, circa late 2000/early 2001 or so.

4.I have yet to compete, aminly because as soon as I 'finish' a setup, I move on to the performance aspect of the car that I am driving at the moment. I get shifty that way..
I would like to at least check out a few shows this spring/summer. I dont think I will compete, my truck is a convertible, thus no competitions, etc..

cheers

I'm a Recording Crew Manager for a large Siesmic company.(We find Oil and natural gas...what they do before they drill a well.) I mostly work on projects overseas; Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

I've been into car audio since before I could drive. It's my main hobby, although I have a couple of others that cost more. I enjoy the constant learning involved, it keeps me young. I mean who would do this stuff if they were sane?

What? You mean we can judge this insanity?

Cool
