My name is Rob
I work at Future Shop as an installer (as of Sept.2003)
I've been doing this since 2000 and I took 2002 off and did Warehouse work and put car audio aside for the year and for 2004 I've decided to get back in to it.
I did a little competing in 2001 and had fun.

I don't think I'm going to do much competing any more probably just help guys out that want to get in to it.

Hey I'm John
1 - I do pinball/arcade/golf simulator repairs and work in an industrial calibration and maintenance shop/
2 - I drive quite a bit and want my car to sound like my home stereo, no stereo = bad driving.
3 - I have been into car audio since I was 11 when I put a cassette deck into my parents car. Over the last 8 years I have been doing more installs, mostly simple. Now I buy non-working pieces and modify them to sound better or or other changes.
4 - I have never competed, I can't stay on one of my own projects long enough to finish it, someone else's is always done as quick as I can.

1. What do you do for a living? – R&D/ product development (hardware) for the engineering segment of a manufacturing company. I specialize in nuclear technology, electrical distribution, system automation, environmental compliance, in other words whatever niche technology available that can advance the product.
2. What involvement do you have in Car Audio? – A hobby but more of an obsession, it keeps me from spending big bucks on my home system or developing meaningful ties to my children.
3. How long have you been into Car Audio? – My father was in electronics and taught me about electronics before I was 10. My mother was a professional musician so I loved music and electronics. I first got seriously involved in car audio in 1984 until it was ALL stolen in 1992, and got back into it Oct 2002. Car Audio is like alcoholism you can walk away and be clean for several years but if you fall back in, it is like you never left.
4. Do you compete, if so when was the last time and for how long? - Yes (MECA), last year and this year, USACi once last year might give IASCA and USACi a little go this year. SQ only.
Feel free to call me Johhny V

Landry here, I work in a laminated veneer lumber mill as a crew member. I enjoy car audio on a hobby level, I have had a stereo in almost every vehicle I have owned. I do most of the install work myself. I have been into car audio since '96 area (high school years). I competed once in a dBDrag show a couple years ago and that was it. I have no intentions of ever competing.
