will this amp work for a set of components?
untill i find a decent set of components and amp i was wondering if my old amp i ran a pair of subs off will be okay to power a set of apline type r comps i have. the amp is an infinity reference 310a

No, unless you had 2 of them. It's a mono (1 channel) amp, you'd need a 2 or 4 channel amp for highs.
