Since it's rated at 2 ohms I wouldn't risk it, sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Isn't it 2 ohm mono? I have heard it can handle like 1.4, but below 1 ohm is really pushing it.

If you are talking .7DCR you might as well say 1ohm....

chances are it will work fine so long as you keep the gains down.... just keep in mind you may get less clean power then you would running at 2ohms...... and if you try to push no doubt there is a good chance you will blow it up.....

it wont work at 1 ohm either, regardless where your gains are. remember that this is 2 amps in one case, basically two strapped boards. the boards that are inside are same as american bass 150.1. even at 1 ohm mono load those boards can not and will not function propertly at 0.5 ohm each for daily use. the least ohm load that amp can do is 1.4 ohm mono and even then it is not safe.

so I take it a protection circuit kicks on...... sounds pretty cheesy for a 2ohm stable amp.....

In my experience most amps will run 1/4 load before you get that going on, but there are obviously exceptions...

yes the amp will protect. u can burp one at 0.7 ohm but u have to know what u are doin. for daily i would not recomment anything lower than 1.4 ohm mono for that amp.

it is a very nice amp, i am looking for one myself. i have not found anything that works better for daily beating.
