I blew a fuse the other day, may have been caused by turning up the volume to about 90% on a cold day almost right away so now I will be more gentle with that volume control.

I took my setup out for the winter and put in a cheaper one. The idea of bumping a 700 dollar sub in the freezing cold kinda scares me.

Don't let it. As long as you give the suspension and motor a couple mins at low-medium volume it'll be fine. Remember that subwoofers are very ineffecient, Like 1 or 3% (can't remember), and the rest is disapate in the form of heat.

Bump away

</font>
Thanks for the reassurance, seems to me like subs were meant for the winter with built in heaters
