Well its that time of year...I see this post and put on my winter tires..........like clockwork.

Just dont be an idiot and crank the tunes one the car is barely started. I will crank it once my trucks to its normal operating temp.

Canadian winter is the best. Thats what all the car audio is for. When I am not drifting a snow covered parking lot, I am parked with the bass on.
My subs are Orion XTR DVC they take 10 - 15 minutes ot heat up to operating temp in the cold because of the ferro fluid.

I wouldn't worry about your system being in the cold. I've had systems in my vehicles for the last 7 winters and seeing -35-40c and have never had a problem. One amp I have has been in use for the 7 years, and the other for 6. I just let everything warm up at low volume for the first 10 mins or so.
