Wiring Size and Big 3 Question

Is there a significan different between using 4 ga and 1 ga for the Big 3?

Also, Yuli states in his Big 3 sticky to run;
Motor to Battery (-)
Chassis (Body) to Battery (-)
Alternator to Battery (+)

Can I just go...
Motor to Chassis
Chassis (Body) to Battery (-)
Alternator to Battery (+)

Lastly, should I run a fuse on the Alternator to Battery (+) wire? Which size?

Need advise......Theanks

fuses are for pussies.

no need to fuse your alt run to the batt

and yes you can either go chassis to engine block, or engine block to batt
