Would these fit in your trunk?

Without modification would these boxes fit in your small-medium trunk without modification? Both are for 2 Dcon 12's in 4.5cf3, everything forewards. I might start selling these .

16.5h x 38w x 22.64d (34.77hz) - port in the middle

14.5h x 33.75w x 29.43d (32.138hz)

MAX enclosure size in my 4 door oldsmobile is 34"W X 16"H X 28.5"D

Main reason for this is a rear sway bar support that cannot be cut away. Most trunk cars DO NOT have this so getting more height and width is possible.

i would have to put the box in without the top on then slide top threw trunk and put it on inside the car

Jalat, which model is that?

no spacing - 33"W X 16"H X 26.6"D = 4.5cf3 @ 32.575hz, 15.55 sq. in. per cube.

.5" spacing on height - 33.33"W X 15.5"H X 27.48"D = 4.5cf3 @ 32.729hz, 15.99 sq. in. per cube.

I believe you have an Alero. If it's anything like the 2 door model is, you are tight on room. They dont have much depth

I figure most people that buy 2 Dcon 12's will want a custom box for a small trunk too. I want to cover: Sunfire, Cavy, Neon, old/new Civic, etc.

4dr Alero, I can fit 14.5 x 33.75 x 29.43/4.5cf3, tight fit and can still have the seat closed.

If I rip out the metal opening (screw driver+tears) I can fit 10.5 cf3 sealed/1" MDF.

I want to cut 3" into the rear deck to fit 4 sealed/upfire SSD 18's in 20 cubes (FC 42.96hz) on a 3500D, 2 throw in boxes - 20.5*18.75*60.22/10.44cf3, I'll have to build half in the car. Atleast $2k I don't have, selling 10 boxes for $250 each will get me there.

I opened a fortune cookie and it said "your new business idea will prosper" lol.

I know what its like. I did the whole enclosure building thing myself. Problem is, When you quote someone $200 for an enclosure, they look at you and say, ya but it only costs like $40 for wood.

People unfortunately dont appreciate custom work anymore. The time you spend designing, building, and just overall labor.

Then then say, well for that price I'll just go to best buy and get a bassworxx enclosure for like $40 cheaper.

dCon 12"s? Ok now is that a certain type of sub? Or just a whole bunch of different 12"s in general? IF its a certain type of sub I doubt you will find 10 people all with that exact same sub willing to buy a box.

but if dCon or whatever means all 12s in general. Do you build for a single ported sub?
