Perhaps its not a true SPL monster.. but its still uncanny loud... What is better for SPL? I swear its always a miss.. I bought this to compete as well.. and now it turns out that this sub cannot do SPL as well as I thought (dang it!)
but I should be able to get at least somewhere with it.. using a good amp.
Oh well. its out of this world good for SQ.. 33hz for an FS is great.. the QMS is fantastic.. really really good sub.

It has done VERY well in the lanes. Basically we're arguing semantics.
The sub wasn't MADE to compete in spl, it just does it very well.
It's kind of like the RE MT. It was made strictly for SPL competitions but there are still a bunch of people that run them in their daily systems and think they sound pretty good!
If you want something to compete with then you've made a good choice with the 95... [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img]
