ok repainted the centre council and placed the recycle, air, rear-defrost in there as well. i needed the room in the centre of the dash for the gauges later on.. also heater controls going in the centre of the armrest... there were just knockouts there anyway so no harm in doing this.

ok got the wiring done for the car... very boring pics but will show so the judges can see... all wiring is under the dynamat.... ZERO chance of it getting cut, nicked, rubbed, wet, dirty, pulled on, ect.... the wires followed the channels along the sides of the car under the seat hump for the front seat mounts, rcas down centre, tie strapped every 6 inches, power ground and remote for deck are run to the back so i can easily fuse the deck with the rest of the stereo, streetwire grommet in firewall, the wire runs into the trunk through holes drilled and split loom glued on so no chance of wire cuts on the metal... i couldnt get grommets the right size so i did what the rule book asks for.... all speaker pairs have a different color of wire and gauge..... subs are black 12 awg, 6.5 are brown 14awg, 3inch are black 16 awg and tweets are blue 16awg..The rca are also color coded for each channel... silver for subs, blue for 6.5. red for mid, and red for tweets.. also the centre arm rest cup holder is finished with the button in place and it repainted looks good!
Now we are working on the sub rings and box, and the amp rack.. pics will follow tomorrow night.

Looking great Randy. Man, you work faster than anybody I know! When I read that you were planning to be completed in April/May, I first read it as NEXT year (2011) lol
I see that FS bay in the pics.....taking in small projects that don't need the car parked in there?
I don't know if you like pebble-grain vinyl but I found some really stretchy stuff at Fabricland in Wack. I used it on some lower door panels I just finished on my truck. It's fleece-backed but I ripped that off and with a just a little heat it's stretch-o-rama. $17/yard.
Isobaric bandpass, I love it! There's no kool like old skool!

ok changed the wiring through the cars metal at the shop... cut out the metal made a nice blow through and placed abs plastic over the top and bottom..... heated the plastic up and bent it around the edge, then ca glued it in place..... very solid and nice and smooth....... for the sides i just glued on split loom........ now it should be safe by iasca standards...... also is a pic of the ground with a stainless steel bolt....
