WTF is the new eclips 1000 made by JVC
James, I'll take that bet and raise you a bottle of Crown. This all happened within the first month of FS taking on the line. I still have all of the e-mails back and forth saved somewhere. I still have all the advertisements somewhere as well.
I was not trying to start it up at all, merely pointing out some facts that I know to be true. But if you would care to discuss what makes the new CD1000 such a POS, I am all ears as I have about 20 of them here. Have you had them coming back for service, have you installed them yet, have you heard them in person yet? From my understanding FS does not even have these cd players in house yet (at least here they do not)..... so Paul, do tell. If this thing is a POS, I want to know about it as they are all going back.

Ok, Ok, I win. Perhaps I am blind or misread your writing. To me it seems as though you have formed a opinion on it based on your comments above.

This phrase has been around longer than most people have been in retail and while it may fool some of the younger people, the old dogs know better. Lets revisit this same topic in 2 years and 5 years and see exactly what has happened, should make a interesting discussion.

I know this is not the right thread to state this in; however, I agree Rob in the 22 years I have been in the industry I have seen this happen before too. That is why I try not to carry "Big Box Gear" whenever possible.

From now on when people ask I will offer up that Eclipse is every bit as good as JVC. ok?
