you say you moved the antenna to the roof? you do know that it has to be on the outside of the car, on the highest point right?

Orion, that's not the case... just like with GPS antennas, I believe you can actually have it sitting on your front dash, "looking" out the windshield. But it does ruin your "all around reception" I think. Bootleg, maybe try giving them another credit card?? If you can receive the preview channel, you should be able to get them all...

Well, the antennna was in the back of the rear deck. Even pointing the car south, the worst angle for reception it still picks up. I was driving all over town with perfect reception here. But on the odd chance the window tint (not metallized) was causing an activation problem i pulled enough slack in the antenna cable to put it on the roof, I left it outside in clear view of the sky for 90 mins on channel 1. Nothing is coming in but previews after they have refreshed my id twice yesterday. We may try changing tuners today. I'm getting very frustrated. My credit card did clear already. Or at least they told me so. They have punched up my profile on their system and are clueless as to why it isn't working.

Not trying to sound like a smart ***, but I have to check all angles.. have you scanned through to other channels aside from the preview channel?? The preview channel is always active even once you are tuning in to all of them. Did you say you were going to try swapping decks??
I wish you luck and am kind of happy I installed mine in the parking lot of a US gas station, minutes after I bought it and had no problems!!! Hehe, it was so "welfare" like.. then I felt like a criminal crossing the border with my new XM tuner...But I am happy with it, I think I am the only person in the Fredericton area that has one..

I hope you get it working buddy. How did you know it was going to work in your area. Is there a Coverage Map that shows what area of Canada the XM Sat. Cover?

I would love to get the Sirius Radio, I have a US Address and everything, but since I spend most of my time in Canada I want to make sure that it works alright.
