I think it would be cool if there was a challenge were each competitor spends 200 bucks on gear to see who can get the highest score would be cool to see this i would be willing to throw in a trophy for this

put a system in a civic hatch for a friend a few years ago
two 10s in a bandpass with a little pioneer amp (that said 200 watts)
it only hit 129
the whole system cost less than 300 ...

Another route, that could also benefit a shop, is to offer one model amp cheap, and people can build whatever they want with just that amp.

If the subs to big, the cheap amp won't push it, so people would have to find a good middle.

 

would be cool to see , would make a nice challenge for ppl no big money invested and would come down to build quality
