3 12" Kicker L5's Or 2 15" L5's

in a ported enclosure, more cone area is better; xmax does not matter as much. i would definitely suggest the 2 15's.

i was talking to my buddy who works at a local shop and he was telling me the 4 15" cvr's will sound alot cleaner and be alot louder then the 2 15' L5's or 3 12" L5's.......for the price i don't think i can go wrong...opinions ppl,opinions......

the L7's were never know to have great sq in ported inclosures
sq crv > L7
spl l7 > crv

i think im going to try the 4 15" cvr's in a properly built ported box, i think it will be louder then the 3 12's, 2 15" L5'S and 15" L7's and if i dont like it just sell them and start over.

do you drive a van? how much space do you have to work with? that is going to be one huge box

haha nah no van....lol i got a newer 2dr gmc jimmy....i know ill be losing my back seats but thats fine with me as i dont use them...

yeah iv built a few box's before so i think i can most likely build the box for this maybe with some nice plans for a ported box for 4 15's (wink,wink cough*cough)...haha i am a carpenter after all!

a ported box would be nice but image the what 20hz would be like if it were sealed

im looking for maximum spl, what you think i should do ported or sealed? i see you do box specs etc, wanna help me out with some specs to build a nice box for 4 of these cvr's?
