I think you are too old when what you used to call car audio a fun hobby is now more a pain in the ****. Even at that, its not a question of too old, just not fun anymore.

i dont know when too old is because im 19 and i have mad ear buzz all the time i have recently removed amplyfiers and subs out of my corolla and the ear buzz is slightly better im guessing 140 bd's aint to good for your ears at all but my ears heard it every day for just about a year

I hope your hearing gets better yet probably not.
I hear that hearing does not repair well, it gets worse actually over the
course of your lifetime.

Anyway to close this thread off.....

I bought a zeus VII new for 550.00US out of the back of a Car audio magazine that no longer exist. It was replacing my "old" Punch 150 to drive my Impact subs. Thats old.

No not joking, I may not have been to clear. I was referring to being old, and seeing the zeus mentioned. I remember buying the amp new, back in 1990, I sold the amp and the magazine I ordered it from isn't published anymore, come to think of it, Impact doesn't make subs either
