Any gain?

Well Im only a few .1's from my gold. Will matting all the holes in the body behind my panels gain at all or will it be a waste of time? Also do loose body panels lose alot of db's? I can never seem to get my panels even and back the way they were when I bought the truck (96 blazer). Im not hardcore competing but I would like to do a 50.x sometime this up comming summer, just looking for a few quick .1's

dynamat your back door and the front doors, that should do it, but beware that your note might change, so you have to retune.

I gained when I deadened my roof(tons of flex there) and lost when I did the tailgate, it was an 04' blazer. The doors (mainly the rear) I gained...

for a street vehicle it's a tough say. Some things that are theoretically counter productive, like removing the flapper for your outside intake for the HVAC system can help some or lose some. Same goes for sound deadening smaller parts. Any big open space that flexes needs to be done, other parts are touch and go. If your dash has alot movement, might want to try to deaden that as well.

so after getting my rear panels tight and spending 2 hours getting supplies and dynamatting my front driver door my test ended up being totally ****ed because I lent my brother my subs/amp and he turned down my gains and I didnt find this out until my intial score was 2db's quieter then when I tested the other day and he told me he turned down my gains so I dont know if I gained or lost by doing the door and tightening the panels. Tomorow im going to do my other door and probably a few other things

i think ull gain from doing the front doors...probably nothing from the hatch. Depends how you deaden it aswell...there are a few different methods
