Any tips or tricks?

I just built my first attempt at an SPL-geared box this week and metered it today. After facing every direction I could, I found it works best CRX style straight back in the trunk, and got it up to 145.6 around 60hz on the TL dbdrag style.

I'd like to get a few more tenths to a 146, but I need some help. I'm basically trying to do everything I can to get louder with this box. My next one will be a bit smaller with a lot more port area.

I have a few ideas I'm gonna try, gathered from searching around - like playing with the seats, visors, etc. etc... Anyone have some top secret Canadian info they're willing to share? Hahaha.

The only thing I've really done so far is sand the port to round it. I'm contemplating duct taping around the subs too, but I don't really want it to leave a mess when I take it off. Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

Could be, although I talked with another guy with the same car doing 49's or so, and he said he was peaking at 68hz. Using that port calculator that everyone uses, I built this box to be tuned to about 52hz

How sweet zzzzzzz! I am flattered that you think my box has the st#$ braced out of it.

Haha, just kidden... anyways, when I first looked at yer pictures I thought you only had 1 sub cuz the other one is in the shadow and I was like, "impressive, that number seems unnaturally high for only one of those subs considering its yer first spl box.". BUT! Now I know there is another sub tucked up in there so it's all good.
