At CES 2009 a VW Golf was in the SQ demo area running all Stetsom amplification, sound was exceptional

If this isn't a dedicated spl setup why would you use a 7k2d to power 4 600w subs?

for fun ?
to have head room when upgrading subs ?
got a great deal on it ?
looks like a daily driver, running higher ohm load for higher effc and higher damping factor ?

is that the 12V or 16V version. i heard the 12V version have some issues running in daily setups, and that they are mainly meant for battery only runs

Maybe I should go buy a 1000w amp for my component speakers and run it at 8 ohms then.

Good set-up! There is no kill like over-kill! It must sound awesome!
Are you going to be involved in any shows this year?
Who did the install?

Good to hear, I saw your review of the amp. Brian at Performance Plus and myself are here for any question or requests for the amps. Anyone in Canada can contact Brian and have the amp super fast and warranty is done right here in Canada so no worrying about internation shipping.

I will run two 7k2D's @ 18V in my system for a daily setup so I don't think one is over kill.

We need to talk about holding shows out in your area too. I am sure we could get alot of spectators out if we bring out some impressive vehicles.

I had a 7kd 12 volt (old version) and was quite impressed with that even.
