manethon dont go with 2 12's if u want to compete, that car can be just as loud, if not louder with 2 10's or 1 12. reason for that is you dont have enough room in that vehicle's cargo area to build a good, loud box that can hold 2 12's. u can make a 'loud' box but it wont be spl loud if u try to go 2 12's. trust me on this one. cargo area space is alot more important for spl than how many subs u got.
listen to ShockingCanada, take the box idea he gave u and start out with that. but i'd try 1 12 first. yah that box is tuned to 61hz but thats only the starting point.

yeah thanks ill take all that into concideration.more questions:
1) am i allowed to glass my sparetire well and use that as part of the enclosure ?
2)also wat would be the best bet to start off with , crx style box or both the sub and port upfiring?
3)if upfiring i have 40x16x23 inches of space avaible for sub box +amps.i could then use 2 12s ?
4)i need to wire low , so unless i buy a new sub and get a dvc sub with .75 ohm vc's , id need the 2 1.5s or 2 dvc .5ohm
5) i can buy 3 10 inch subs(sealed daily) , build spl box for 2 10s , and use the space where other 10 was mounted to put the port in , then ican use a single 8 inch port with flaired ends.
sorry for all the questions , im just lookin to get the best spl with a daily setup that can be swapped to spl set up with minimal effort.

wagonized, when u said street i thought u ment street class in db drag. but then again u would not want to keep that box at 61hz tuning anyways, u'd have to test and bring the tunning lower, probably to the point where u would not need to plug one port anyways.
