They don't produce sound, just vibrations so it "feels" like having a sub. Dunno why it would cause you to ditch a sub...

Subs are made to create vibrations but if some little thing like these Aura Bass Shakers do the same thing then thats all thats needed. Why have some super exspencive, heavy, power sucking, space eating beast in the trunk when the bass shakers can fit right under the seat and create the same feeling as a bunch of subs at a fraction of the cost.

The bass shakers are used to make your bass feel louder. The idea is that you need a little bass to start with. If you wanna run these I would suggest getting an 8 inch sub putting it in a small sealed and tucking it in the corner of your trunk. The bass shakers fool your body not your ears.

Its gonna sound empty. THink of it like a vibrating controller on PS2 or Xbox. It kinda feels funny without the sound to back it up.

I don't know, I'm always changing things trying to make it better somehow. I'll try these as an experiment and see how they go. I like the idea of elimanating the sub the reasons stated in a earlier post. Its riduculus how much power it takes to create some thump. These Aura Bass Shakers look like they can do the same affect on far less power and space. I think I'll get some high end 6x9's for the audible lows.

I have some on my chair for when i play racing games.. you can really feel the engine and crashes and stuff... but i dont see a point in putting them in instead of a sub. if i play music with them on, and my sub off in the room, you dont feel like there's a sub.. just like you have a vibrating char.

Bass is felt right? Thats what these bass shakers do very well. I'm not following why a sub is necessary.
