what I am saying is we are comparing manufacturer 10k vs 16k ratings

I can see a test between 1100.1 vs sd 12K being a better test to go by and even then they are not 100% matched

i stopped looking at amplifier's rated/made up specs a while ago, as well as the model numbers or any other numbers. all that is marketing now.

like Dave Chappelle said, "you gotta look at the eyes, not the noses"

all that really matters is the power an amp produces along with the spl it achieves. ratings, shmatings, all numbers that are written down either on the amp or its manual mean nothing.
