Anybody got any reccomendations for the Inhuman 15 DVC sub. I've got about 40"X40"X15" so that I can stay in Street. I'm looking for a box that I can run 2 different ports with one for 100% SPL and one 65-35 SPL/SQ. I'll be running 2 JBL 1200s.

 

If you can get around 5-6 cubes of air with 50-60 sq inch port you should be in that ratio you wanted. It looks like you can. You will have to test the port length to your personal taste and for peak spl so make sure the port is adjustable.
Sorry for such a vague description but I really think with the right testing you should be right where you want. Also be prepared for some tough testing cause if your using the Tempo those car are tough to get loud from the trunk, so don't get discouraged. Good luck

 

We just finished building a 7.5 cube box for 4 15" inhuman's in a SUV.. all subs up.. slot port along the bottom of the box firing back..

Currently we have 180 Squar inches of port, peaks around 50/52hz, by cutting another peice of MDF and tacking it to the bottom floor area of the box we bring the port to 150 Square inches of port, which peaks lower.

 

I'm not driving the tempo any more.. I have a 4runner now with lots of room. I've got 13 cu. ft to spare. I might look into finding another Inhuman and just run one JBL off each. I was wondering if there was any starting point on port depth as well. I'll build the box myself, but Any help on exact port sizes would be extremely helpful.

 

On the 7.5 Cube box the port used is 39.5" x4.5" x22" deep approx.. and it gets super loud at 52hz.

 

YA, but i'm lookin at a port size for only one sub.

 

1 sub in 7.5 cubes.. that should get loud.. a certain decibenz comes to mind.

I would shoot for 4 cubes.. and 60-75 squar inches of port area.. have someone input the numbers in winisd to find the port length..
