Bandpass for spl
4th and 6th order refer to how steep the frequencies role off. A 4th order (with has one sealed and one vented chamber) roles off as 24db per octave. The 6th is vented on both chambers and roles off more quickly. The 6th is gererally more efficient but also has a more narrow bandwidth. The narrow bandwidth is actully how the design got its name. Only a specific "Band" is allowed to "Pass" as sound.
I've got roughly 18 cubes to play with and I wanna stay in street B so for the single jugg i I think I'm gonna try 3 cubes on the sealed side and 11 cubes on the ported side port will be 34long x 9.5wide x 5 inches deep, The box will fit in between my wheel wells and come up tho my front seats but will be below the plane of my side windows. just wondering if i'm on the right track here..........hehehehehehe time to build it and see!!!
Hey Murry remember in street class your second row of seats must still be fully operational.
Sounds like you plan on making the sportage into a 2 seater. If so I think you would then be either a street max, or ss no-wall.

The first and second row seats in all street class vehicles must still be fully operational. If you have 3rd row seats you are allowed to remove them.
So if your box sits on top of your seats and makes it so that they can no longer carry passangers then it is not street allowed.

I think Grizz is setting up another T&T the weekend before the 3X. You should do it, and bring it down to the 3X show and give Aaron some competition. Remember big, big trophies.
