even a Rep lost a motor on one of his subs. I like to beat up on my stuff, but they dont do well in single baffled boxes. If hes got a $1000 why wouldnt he go for something better?

Team Ricco I dunno what kind of abuse ur putting these subs through but the shop I worked at sells quite a bit of those 12.4's and Ive only seen one get killed...that was by a golf club in a trunk..so carelessness not daily use and abuse... they get pretty damn loud too in the right box... 146.2dB with a measured 680 watts

i ran 2 off 4 bassworx 500.1s for 6 months blasting everyday day and they finaly died cuz i played a song to loud that played low 30hz in a box tuned to 53hz smoked my car out nicely, they were great subs while they lasted probly buying 2 more as temp subs
