what happend i just blew up a few of my exide batteries ?? guess what voltage they sit at ?? 4 volts now that is out of this world not just one battery but a bunch. I didnt know exide farmed the battery for CDN tire but now i do. Why i didnt like them was because in our power boat the (nautics)blue deep cycles died in 3 weeks then i got another and it also died ..... i just got a fresh set to try one last time.... its only my experiance

Well, after much consideration and talking to people who are far harder on batteries than I am (or at least have been)..

I'm going to buy the Optimas. Not cuz I think they are the best solution, but because they are the best price and my budget is disappearing really fast. Plus, I think they will carry me until i pick up some real deep cycle golf cart batteries and move both Optimas underhood (what the hell, eh ) likely over winter.

oh... and the battery compartment 'inside' the car is a 22ga steel compartment and it will be vented outside. no worries.

cheap is good.....and you have the right train of thought on getting better later. it sends a good message to gys that ther eis always room for improvement and it doesnt hurt o look at your options.

i can hear it now.....boom....boom....boom....tsk..tsk..tsk...bo om....boom.

good choice on the optimas.. the 31 series are awsome and u shouldnt need anymore than that... 2 of those are alot of juice
