Which Batts, where to get them?

Optima 31 is probably the best daily driver batt you can have. And it still will hang with the big batts like the 3100 power master and Hawkers, Kenitiks and so on.
As for multi cells probably DC is one of the best but not recommended for daily.
But in the end for comps and none multi cell i would do Power Master any day of the week!

Sqmonster how do you not dim with over 3k of power, yes i read 2 batts but still? And have you clamped your M3 to see the real power its doing? I just find it hard to believe you are getting 3k out of that amp running 9110 subs which the newest version is a d series not g, and only doing 142 dB.

I should only be getting 2400 watts out of the M3 (not lab tested, just what I should be getting at 1 ohm). The rest is going to my front stage.
As for the 142, Robert (Team Shadow) and I tested it on my Term Lab until my deck skipped.
I only run that kind of power when I'm competing. When I'm cruising, I have it stupidly loud, but not on a test tone, so it's not going to be burping the same way.
You're right about the 9110's though. They are the D's.
Between the 10 layers of fibreglass and the inch and a half of plexi comprising my sub box, it's really efficient.
