lol i have a name 2! jk

But on a serious note, even contact DBdon, and even ask corey, they all have worked and seen many builds with the SD's DONt run at .5! im telling you.

i.e Jordy doesnt run his sd at that
nor does the twins,
nor did corey,
nor do I

just not a safe bet dude.

1ohm version--> so get d2 coils

Lol sorry I just knew thier names from many other threads they have helped me on so it was easy to remember their names.

But I will indeed look into running 1 ohm. I am pretty much convinced running 1 ohm already lol. Dont worry in a few weeks once I have money money I will probably be making a thread having trouble picking a sub. And I will put into consderiation your offers and advice you have given me.

I have the 2ohm 5k model and run it at 1ohm without problems. I rise to 3.8.

There's a competitor in the states that has the 1ohm model and wasn't able to run it at 1/2ohm. He had to recone to .7, but his headunit seems to really work poorly, which could be the cause.

Thats odd the amp wouldnt run at 1/2 ohms? Would the head unit possible have something to do with that?

you should probably be investing in a Termlab rather than these huge amps

By the looks of this thread you will be breaking a lot of equipment......maybe you should start with something smaller and learn. This is like buying an ak47 to learn how to shoot
