Big Dilemma (am i worthy?)
Theres a competition in casltegar on june 5th and i am going to go and check it out but i was wondering if you guys could help me decide on whether or not i should compete, i was hoping to run in the street c class which is pretty competitive i want to go in it just for the hell of it, i do not expect to win it but i dont want to go there and end up getting laughed at. I just built a box for 3-12's, its about 3.5 cuft and has a monster slotted port, built with jayson from its not quite done but its coming along nice i used mat and resin to round out the corners but have not decided if i want to use bondo as well to make it real smooth
I have an alipine mrd m-1000 pushing 3- concept ss 12's i know its not an spl set up, but how do you guys think i would do in street C would it be worthmy $40???
( i also have installed 50sq feet of sound deadener, 1 farad cap, optima deep cycle, and i am debating whether or not to put my old stock battery in the trunk cuz street C allows 2 batts)
thanx in advance for your guys.

I'd say that looks good...
I mean, go to compete anyways... it's a lot of fun and if you get to talking to a few of the other competitors they may be able to help you out!

Try it out and at the very least you have a benchmark for your system. Meet the people that support the industry we love so much.
If you want to get your fete wet head up to Williams Lake this Sunday for a fun show. The WCES boys will be running it and they are a great group of guys that will happily help you out. Myself included. I am bringing at least 3 rookie clients to pop their SPL cherries this weekend. I will have at least 2 rookie ladies there as well. They shall be sporting ear and eye candy.
