Can I borrow someone's cap???

I am wondering if I can stop by someone's shop or place and try hooking up a cap into my system?

I'm considering a cap, but don't want to shell out the money if it's not going to fix anything, so I'd like to try it first.

What are you trying to fix? And have you done the big three upgrade?

I'm trying to fix what I consider to be a slight headlight dimming problem.

I've done 2 of the big 3. Battery negative to chassis and alternator positive to battery. Haven't done the engine block to chassis upgrade though because I fear it'll be the biggest pain and don't know where to start.

In any high spl settup with big power no cap I've ever installed has solved the dimming headlight problem.
the best and in my experience only two ways to eliminate it is multiple alternators one dedicated for the car charging and one (or more) just for system batteries (you should be running extra battereis regardless for high power spl or sq.
the cheaper alternative and one most commonly used is a dual battery isolator and second battery

is your power wire just one run of 4 gauge from the battery to the back?

i dont know what any of your gear in your sig is, is it subs, amps, decks, eq's??? but it seems like alot of gear. i think all you need is more/bigger power runs from front to back and i would also run as many (or as big) of ground wires from the battery to the back. Chassis grounds are outterly GAY when thats all you i've got.

a cap would be just as worthless as the line driver you got.

OH and you have it wrong, the engine block to chassis is the easiest one to do. Just take any bolt on the block , anwhere, attach ur ground and ground it to any where on the chassis. The Alt to batt posi is the hardest and most time consuming by far.
