Cd changer
I'm having a problem with skipping in my new vehicle and it's holding me back a bit. Before anyone mentions it, it is not voltage issues, I have checked. It really is skipping. I have managed to get rid of most of it, by changing my mounting bracket on the head unit, but it still happens now and then in testing
I read a cd changers is the way to go. Is this true, and where do you mount it? Can it just be tossed in the glovebox?
I have a pioneer headunit, so it would have to be a pioneer changer.

how old is the HU??? sometimes over time the lazer just "gets old" and isnt that accurate anymore... if you really want to keep the deck then ya go with the changer. you can stuff it under a seat, glove box. trunk... but use the mounting braket dont just throw it in lol
might have good power to the deck but hows the ground??? a shitty ground will make it skip and not perform as well..... reground from the rear of the chassis of the deck ( theres should be a screw back there) and ground it to the chassis of the car. if that doesnt work then try something else

Cd player is only about a year old. They still sell the same model as new. In my old vehicle it was never a problem, but in my new one it was terrible the first time I mounted it. I notice it's a little worse with the surround around the head unit. I think the mounting points are not a solid as my last vehicle.
Ground is good. I grabbed support bar behind the dash.
Just found a cd changer, so hopefully it will solve my problems.
