Ya those things are sick [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] i wonder if we can run something like that off a yellow top...the crossfire vr2000d runs off of it at 2ohms and managed to do a 143.7 on termlab in the sx2.0 [img]smile.gif[/img]

Tom i'm glad yours is working now, I would check to see if there is a diffrence in spl with and with out the isolator
You can burp 2 of these off a single 1700 at 1ohm, you can burp 1 of them off a 1700 at .5ohm

I put a 30amp relay on the remote turn on and a ground loop isolator on it and now it seems to be working...seems to burp and not flip out anymore. Not sure if it is cause of the remote or the isolator thing though...but I had 900xds before and they sometimes tended to spazz out without the isolator so I did both things and it seems to be working...ground loop isolators can be bought for like $10

I agree with Dave, Us ea multi meter to see what the draw is, and I bet just like Johnny said its going into protection, not clipping. Most modded amps wont go into protection unless there is a serious issue causing them to do so. If current draw is to much, I suggest getting a capacitor or 2 to try and see if that helps. Odds are is the amp is drawing so much during your initial burp, that your electrical system is haveing trouble recovering, and it might just need a little extra help. Double check for stray wire strands touching metal that they shouldnt, like at the subs. loose connections on power and ground ect. I hope you get it figured out good luck
