Can I get some history / significance of this Ohio location?
Has it been in Ohio before? Is there usually 2 U.S. Dates for the weekend? Why does it take place over 2 days (no schedule up on the site as of yet).

it was in cleavland in 2005, was an amazing turn out.

it's a 2 day event. day one is qualifying, day two is eliminations.

in the past majoirty of 3x events (not just finals) were 2-day shows. in the last few years it just wasnt financially wise to hold 2 day events so pretty much all shows with exception of finals were made 1 day events.

Not knowing the history behind it, I'd say that on Ohio location is pretty much an invite for all Canadians. Its pretty close to the border without actually being IN CANADA.

¤Corrected for spelling

well it isn’t, you still need an invite for the event.

Termpro, db drag racing, spl meter, spl car audio, loudspeaker systems, wayne harris and instead of "not knowing the history" you could simply read how it works since you post enough about spl, it might be beneficial.

Wow ... I just said the schedule is not on the site ... THAT site. I don't know db drag history because my competition level is new, so I don't travel out of province, for instance.
I asked because this site is filled with veteran competitors, judge, promoters and shop owners who know more than me.

And yes, invite only to those that have enough points to compete. That's what I meant.

oh a 3x as well?...good to know...i know someone that might be heading down then

well its like iouli said, altho its more like 3 days...in a sense. First day(day before the event day) registration and vehicles get locked up inside the building over night.

First actual day, judge and competitor meeting in the morning, vehicle audits in the morning/afternoon and qualifying the rest of the day.

Second day is all eleiminations and the actual world finals, where you compete on a national level(broadcasted between all north american locations) then the winner moves on to compete with the european and brazil champion. then the days over, judges hang out to help tear down, and everyone drives home.

There probably wont be an actual schedule released because it is completly dependant on how many competitors show.
