I think its absolute bullshit that anyone can come and play with the world finalists for half the cost. Pretty much defeats the purpose of collecting pts, making regionals, traveling etc...

For sure this will be the first and last Dbdrag Finals for me.

thats how i feel as well , they can actually leave with more of a prize then we can , theres no prize for the world finals except for a ring which will be sent to europe anyways , so were competing for pts really , from what its costing me to get there , if theres no finals on my side of the country next year or even in cali I dont think ill go unless its in october again the weathers just so bad right now it makes things really difficult to travel, but ya its just retarded that anyone can just show up and compete at world finals which is suppose to be a world event

I totally agree. There was no point in investing all the time and money to collect point to find out your can compete at world finals for 80 bucks

This only shows that Wayne only cares about the money. I mean seriously no awards for Finalists at all?

If I can throw a multi org show and have over 70 Trophies and plaques to award people with and raffles etc... I'm sure Wayne I'm a millionare Harris can afford to do it as well. What a Joke.

If it wasnt for my Team being there and Rusty wanting me to be present as the North American Rep I would not be going.

its just a joke , from what i was told even the regiional trophys are just small cups , the wf competitors get a small plauque for competing and then the winner gets a ring , more or less this is going to be a bad experiance , but im gonna go and have fun anyway , should meet some good ppl there

See the problem in Canada is we really only have db drag.....IASCA is here but no popular. It is sad that each competitor that qualified for world finals has to pay 200 and there aren't better prizes. In Europe it would be worth because they actually get a shot at a ring but over here all we can do is pray for equipment failure so we win by defualt

thats just it , every single vehicle in europe is a panda with high end gear , we dont have a hope in hell of even coming a couple db to those guys , from what i was told by a little birdie next year db drag will be cut down to roughly 6 classes , extreme will most likely be cut as well as most of the ss classes and from what i was told pandas might be sol in certain classes , but db drag or any org up here in the west is very small the whole competition scene is very small there needs to be some huge changes to bring it back up to a competitive level

I will no doubt have a good time as I always do when I get to hang out with my friends as well as getting to meet new folks and see lots of loud rides but it totally defeats the purpose of all the time and effort that we have put in to be thrown in with anyone who wants to pay the 80 dollar entry fee.

If I had know this was gonna happen I would have saved thousands of dollars and put it to use somewhere else and just competed in the 3x. Its like a slap in the face to all World Finalists.
