i dont care what anyone says the termlab sensor is NOT a pressure sensor. Its all about manipulating air across the mic.

Awsome stuff. We need more extreme vechicles in Canada. The bigest advice I can give you is to write down your tests that you will be doing, and work on system efficency.

X... now maybe Im totally dumb or something... but I think Ive done alright using my wavelength theories. if you're doing any kind of ported enclosure the wavelength has lots to do with it weather you are side loading, top or bottom loading...extreme or stock... wavelengths do mater... even inside your enclosure
watch the scores after this weekend...then you will understand what I am talking about... and I have never been back to europe since 1981... so Im not using bandpass

I would have to say you are doing quite fine, that is a NW score if I am correct right? Wavelength theory must be working.

thanx, it's a wall now

when it was NW and I added more equipment it didnt fit below window line thats why I went wall, but only gained 0.5 db the rest was reinforcing and smothing the enclosure as the original #'s were done with a box that was only 1" mdf... brown bread( well now renamed to MEGA DEAD) helped a few 10ths as it helped seal and stiffen the doors and roof
much quieter outside and alot louder inside

</font>
all this is true but if sound waves don't play a part why even bother to have a port? or for that matter u are saying that cancelation dosen't affect the out put of a woffer! sounds like we are just thinking pressure. that would be great if you were pressurising the cabin with an air compresor that only creats possitive pressure.
