since the multi cell batteries are legal in dB Drag again this year there will be a new Canadian battery company. A certain van in Street Max 3-4 will have 2 of them.

They're 36 volts. Sure, you can wire it to use two banks of 16 (and omit the last two cells) or in my case, two banks of 14 (omitting four cells, each cell is two volts).

But me, I was just using them to power two 1200d's, doubling up would be unnecesary.

That, and I don't have free access to forklift batteries

I would think that locomotive batteries would be pretty ideal for an extreme class vehicle. As said, you'd have to test it and a bank of super-batteries to see which would perform better. Four lokies would be better than a forklift though, as they're designed for cranking diesel locomotive engines, not cycling, so may perform as good as or better than a bank of super batteries.

Recharging, yes, would take longer.

NSB-90s seem to be quite popular on the Termpro forum last I checked. The DEKA Intimidator is also a good low-cost alternative to a Group 34 Optima.

I was gonna buy a NSB-90 but the price shot up a huge amount before I got a chance so I just went for a Kinetik HC-2400.. I also traded my old amp for a SVR80-12 so we'll see how this combination works. I don't know why people buy Optima's. The defective rate is insane.

They will pop right up.
who sells the Hawker Batt? and what would be a good price for a 2150 Oddessey? and how does the Kinetik 2400 compare?
