Just finished putting the zapco's through their paces. i'll be honest, they aren't the nicest sounding amp I've heard. The Arc SE still have them beat. I had ear fatigue after 1 minute. Dynamically they are great but need to be toned down in the 5k to 12K range. Thank god for gains. The DC Ref have built in active x-over and time alignment processing - That's all I can say that tickles me right now.

I put the Steg MSK 3000 back on. NOW THAT'S HOW AN AMP SHOULD SOUND. (it better for $5k MSRP)

Btw where is this ultimate car you're building Yuli? With your work schedule it should be done by now, shouldn't it?

I wonder if because of all their built in processing those amps also have a built in sound curve that doesn't please you. Luckely you can tune it back to flat and it will sound like it should.

You are correct sir. I did an amp and speaker tests for a few hour today and the outcome is very good. I may have to attenuate the tweeters with a few resistors but that's bout it.

IMHO it's always good thing to test everything before fabricating. I had a faulty bullet connector.

Amp rack is in the drawing process since it need to hold both 350s and the 3500D. Car should have tunes in the next 2 weeks. NOT rushing this - sorry YULI.
