On the Jeep I've done floor + doors a few years ago. But it's a way more flimsy car compared to the Grand you had.

Found it !

Guess more work lies ahead.

Yeah, it's a lot but it would jump from 149.2 to 150-150.2 which is short of the goal.
I'll look for pics.

have you tried a box with an aero port in a position where the port is close to a loading surface?

how big is the mounting flare in your port?

I've tried it like that and didn't see an increase.

The flare OD is around 13.4"

The results of this weekend's testing:

2.1CF box, 8" aero, 148.7dB @ 56hz
3CF box, 8" aero, 149.6dB @ 56hz with a 10" aero 150.1dB @ 53hz.
All ports were tested by the cut and burp method.

The loudest position was woofer to the front, port towards the passenger side, box pushed way back, for all boxes. Seems like the closer the port is to the side, the lower the score and the lower the peak.

Ideas ?
So far I'm thinking a long and slender box, to keep the port as far from the side as possible. The shelves on the sides will also go.

The flare is smooth, wet sanded with 600. The pipe is also smooth, being new PVC pipe. With some primer the flare would look like the one on page 2.

Amp / electrical changes are the last things I want to touch. Box changes, car changes are what I want to focus on now.

Seats are mandatory for our style of competition. Both seats as high as possible helps.
Visor position helps 0.1 but it's not consistent.
Headrests on / off don't change anything.

So far I haven't had a brace team available

The limits are: 3000w amplifier, 1 12 or 2 10's, 1 extra battery, 3 runs of 1/0.
The box can go over the window line if it is in the cargo area. If it's out of the cargo area it has to be under the window line and it can be all the way up to the B-pillar (that's why initially I thought about an SSNW style box)
