still a ported box designed by the right person will get your DB higher. what kind of car?????
and yea i would say that you would have to hit higher then mid 130s cus i have a pickup with 3 12" type Rs and a RF bd5001 (614rms) and they are all sealed and my wifes truck is only doing 136.4

LOL...I know as well that the X performs best under a ported box, but you get Punchy and low with a ported! I have run both in my lancer, and im disappointed!! I also run a Kicker kx1200.1 to it,(not getting full potential), but better then nothing right?? it satisfys the boom I want for day to day, but if I ever enter a competition, I want to run 3
