ok dont take my advice. you were the one that said you dont want to smoke an amp in 1 burp, did one of them not break? good amp not supposed to go that quick with no use at all.

200 amp draw and 3000 rms watts is still a lie unless these are the best car audio amps ever created.

dont give me a link to the exile forum, when was the last time you read anything bad about a brand on its own forum/website. send me one of these amps and let's do an independant test/review.

reason i told you to run each amp to a pair of coils is b/c in most cases amps work better/louder when they are not strapped. but I'm sure you already knew that, right?

yes i bet there are some guys running them on 18v set ups, do you have an 18v set up? there are also guys breaking windows with bass, unfortunately i am not one of them.

my post was not intended to cut up your set up or the amps you are using, there was no intention to offend you. i just wanted to tell you the truth, truth which you will find out sooner or later i guess. i mean no offence, please dont take me for an idiot and paste a link to the forum again. you asked for advice/opinion, so this is my opinion and advice to you. you do not have to prove me wrong if you disagree, I bet with time you will see I was just being truthful.

I asked peoples opinion on the enclouser nothing else.

200ampsx14.5v=2900wrms

The reason I only got one was the second was lost in the warehouse during shipping and now it cant be found may not have it for awhile.

Not worried about burning them up now after talking with Exile and even running them at .5 they will still warrenty them

Normally the only things you hear on forums are bad things cause no one feels like they have to tell the world if something good happens but if something bad happens whats the first thing that happens you run and tell everyone right kinda suprising eh.

Also I didnt give you the link to prove they are good Just to prove they are being ran at .5ohm and 18v with out issue.

I know you know your stuff and everything in your posts comes off as being argumentitive you didnt give me any advice that actually help just seems like you wanted to start a fight maybe its my bad for taking it out of context and if so I'm sorry.

on a lighter note tuned the box to 45HZ peaked at 53HZ and hit a 152.4 on a TL.

On the bad side the FREE sub bit the biscuit when the former unglued its self from the spider so now in the market for a sub.

canadian123 - not trying to bash, but that is not a way to measure amplifier output, that is a rough estimate of the amplifier input (rough because its not likely to draw the full 200 amps, and your voltage is most likely going to drop to much less than 14 volts) depending on the efficiency of the amp and impedance and everything else will tell you how much you actually get out of the amp, best way is find someone with a true rms dmm and clamp meter and have it tested (you'll probably be getting around 1200-1600 per amp depending on your electrical system)

Hey my account is screwed at the moment so I made a new one for the time being.

Chris I know thats not 100% accurate way of measuring rms power I was just giving a rough idea. I know my power drops a great deal after 3-4 burps it takes a few min to get the batterys back to the 14.4 range.

During a burp my voltage does not drop below 13.8v I have no idea what my amps are I would need a clamp to find that.

The 152.4 was on a TL mic that is 2db higher then the TL pad my other installer owns. So should be accurate at 150.4 with maybe 30min of tinkering which I think is really good for the time and money invested.

The Quad has been repaired but Still looking to get a DD9515 I just need to sell me Zapco AG650 if anyone know someone who wants it!.

when u are ready ... by doing more research about how amplifiers work... then MAYBE i will help design a box... since I have ALOT of experience with the immortals... my knowledge might just be of some use... but i dont help ignorant know-it-alls... hopefully you dont get offended... just take it as advice power = volt in X current draw X amp efficiency... or u can just measure ac voltage out and multiply it by current to the woofer...
thats the most accurate u will get without a scope

read more online lots of info... then come back

Hey MTA

I take no offence I know how to calculate power to the sub I just dont have the tools to do so I can measeure AC voltage but I do not have a clamp to measure amps.

Like I said I know the volts x Amps is only in the perfect world and at 100% effeciency.

Please I'm half as ignorant as some of the guys I see on this site. I know what I'm doing and I know alot more then most and I wont take being talked to like a punk kid who doesnt know like prolifik came in here and did. If you want to talk specs, theory....ect just do it I will understand no need to dumb down I've been in the industry for 7yrs now. I'm a very humble guy trust me all I asked for was help with a box not for the lets bash my amp session I got.

Anyway I'm sorry everyone if my posts came off as being ignorant but I'm easily pissed off when I get talked down to by people who dont know me.

Again any help with the box would be great although I think I'm heading in the right direction already I would love some tips!.
