No doubt, they work great and I have had zero issues with them. Just rated a little high thats all.

I'm running a Brutus 2006D and I've had no problems. I'm running 1 ohm to a 9515 DD. It puts out well but I can't push too hard because my electrical system can't handle it. Actually dropped my voltage enough to shut my deck off the other day.

Lol yeah its on the "to do" list. I'd like to get an upgraded alternator but they are pricey and probably a little tough to get for a 2006 matrix. I should do the big 3 upgrade one day...

Going by the Amp Guts specs on the Hifonics Brutus BX1500D

Class D Mono amplifier
1 x 500w @ 4 ohms
1 x 1000w @ 2 ohms
1 x 1500w @ 1 ohm
Fuse: 2 x 60A

Not far off

look at the specs 13v 951w at .06 thd and at 14.v 1360w at 10% thd. thats alot of distortion at that wattage.
